MANILA -- Cebu Pacific is offering a "piso fare" for passengers directly flying from Iloilo to Hong Kong when flights resume this October.

In a statement, the budget carrier said it will fly to Hong Kong from Iloilo starting October 27. The flights will take place 4 times weekly--every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Flights from Hong Kong to Iloilo, meanwhile, will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Tourists can book their flights for as low as P1 one-way base fare from July 26 to 31. They can travel anytime from October 27 to March 29, 2025. 

This makes Cebu Pacific the only airline in Iloilo to operate flights internationally, the low-cost airline said.

At the moment, passengers flying to lloilo have to book connecting flights from Manila and spend up to 12 hours traveling to reach Hong Kong with layovers.

With the resumption of the Iloilo-Hong Kong flights, travelers can now reach Hong Kong in less than 3 hours, and even save up to 20 percent on round-trip airfare compared to booking connecting flights.
