MANILA -- Kingson Sian, the longtime Travellers International Hotel Group chief executive officer, has retired.

Travellers International's parent firm Alliance Global Group made the disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange Tuesday.

Travellers International is the operator of lifestyle and entertainment complex Newport World Resorts in Pasay.

Kevin Tan, the son of Alliance Global founder Andrew Tan and current CEO of Alliance Global, will be serving Sian's unexpired term. 

Tan is also a director at Megaworld Corporation, Emperador, Inc., Empire East Land Holdings, Inc., Global-Estate Resorts, Inc. and MREIT, Inc.

This hotel in the heart of Manila is now part of Newport World Resorts' rewards program
