MANILA -- Cebu Pacific is offering seat sale for its flights to Sapporo.

For as low as P1,488 one-way base fare, travelers can book flights from Manila to the "City of Snow" from November 13 to 19. They can then fly anytime from January 16 to March 29, 2025.

The budget carrier is flying three times weekly--on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays--to Sapporo starting January 16. Cebu Pacific said this will make it the only airline flying directly between the 2 cities.

The low-cost carrier said visitors can now ski, build snowmen, try sledding, and enjoy the Sapporo Snow Festival by flying there in the first few months of the year.

Cebu Pacific said it is now flying to 27 international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Cebu Pacific's net income doubled in the first quarter of the year amid strong travel demand

REVENUES UP BUT INCOME DOWN

The airline reported P74.5 billion in revenues for the nine months ending September, an 11 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Cebu Pacific said this was driven by 17.5 million passengers flown, which was 13 percent higher than in the same period last year.  However, the company's net income fell 33 percent to P3.4 billion as its expenses grew with deals to buy new planes.

The Gokongwei-led airline said it ended September with a fleet of 91 aircraft, 10 more than the same period last year. It also invested in 10 additional spare engines to sustain its growth and improve operational reliability.
