Monday may not be a good day to do laundry, according to weather bureau PAGASA, as the southwest monsoon brings overcast skies over Metro Manila and other parts of the country, with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the following areas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms:

The weather bureau is monitoring a tropical depression near extreme Northern Luzon but noted it is unlikely the weather disturbance will enter the Philippines’ area of responsibility.
