The 30th ASEAN summit will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City from April 26 to 29.

Another summit is scheduled on November and is expected to be bigger with United States President Donald Trump expected to attend.

According to Department of Interior and Local Government Officer-in-Charge Catalino Uy, P2 billion will be used for security.

"Majority of the budget would be for meals ng personnel na idedeploy natin, yung mga rentals ng VIP cars, mga billeting ng ating personnel, yung movement," he said.
