MANILA -- BDO Unibank, the Philippines' largest lender said Friday that ATM, mobile and online banking as well as debit and cash card transactions will be inaccessible for 16 hours during the Holy Week weekend to give way to a systems upgrade.

The service interruption will start at 8 p.m. on April 19, Good Friday to 12 p.m. on April 20, Black Saturday, BDO said in a statement.

Branches will be closed from April 18, Maundy Thursday to April 21, Easter Sunday, BDO said. Regular operations will resume on Monday, April 22.
