Tanning Studio SPRAY Gives You A Sun-Kissed Glow In Under 5 Minutes

I don’t tan; I lobster. It’s one of those things that come with genetics, unfortunately. I’m one of those people who can’t stay under the sun for too long lest my epidermis starts catching fire, forcing me to sit in pain, slathered from head to toe in aloe vera.

Alright, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. But some of us really don’t get that golden glow that comes so naturally to others after a nice lie-in by the pool or sea. So we end up looking for the “next best thing”: artificial tanning methods. Clients are given the choice between light (1-3 shades darker), medium (2-4 shades darker), and dark (3-5 shades darker). This base tan goes on clear; effects are visible 6-8 hours after the session, which means no showering or sweating is permissible during that time period as this will affect the reaction of the skin. As a first-timer with a preference for a sheer sun-kissed glow, I went with the lightest option. The attendant mixed it up with my preferred scent—the choices that day were Fresh and Sport—and loaded it into the booth while explaining the do’s and don’ts before she left me to my own devices.

The guidelines are pretty simple and straightforward. Strip, put on a shower cap, and slather the palms, soles, and nails with a protective lotion before entering the booth. I was instructed to simply wave my hand over the green light as a go signal of sorts. A voice-activated prompt walked me through the procedure, which was simply a matter of holding the required position and turning around when asked to. After a 60-second dry-down, I was free to go about my day as I pleased. When I reached my desired shade at the 6-hour mark, I jumped into the shower to avoid getting any darker.
