Aside from being a reality talent show for all ages, Pilipinas Got Talent is also for all mediums, as participants from different parts of the country got to showcase their skills in every way they wish.

Just like the contestants featured in this episode of PGT Rewind, who incorporated light and shadow in their performances, much to the delight of the viewers and judges alike.

First off is Miggy Hizon, a then-19-year-old lad from Quezon City, who impressed us with his yoyo freestyle tricks while using lights to bring more illusion. His unique presentation easily stole the hearts of the judges, especially of Angel Locsin, making him get their four sweet “yes”.

Next is The Magnificent Light Artists, which was comprised by a couple hailing from Biñan, Laguna. They didn’t just make us kilig with their chemistry and sweetness onstage, but also amazed us with the light art painting that they created together.

And last is Bailes de Luces, a group of dancers that put the Municipality of La Castellana, located in Negros Occidental, on the map when they joined the fifth season of PGT in 2016. Just on their auditions, they instantly wowed the judges with their colorful and luminous production, which Robin Padilla described as spectacular.

Angel hailed them as the best in production design, while Freddie M. Garcia wasn’t able to contain how truly entertained he was of their presentation. We also witnessed the amazement in Vice’s eyes as she compared the spectacle to the French festival Mardis Gras, which she deemed perfect for the Gay Pride celebration because of how “visually entertaining” and utterly flamboyant it was despite the immaculately white base of their costumes.

Watch out for more remarkable performances and unforgettable contestants from past seasons of Pilipinas Got Talent in the next episodes of PGT Rewind!
