Billboard Philippines will be celebrating its first year anniversary with a concert this October.

On September 7, the magazine announced: "As Billboard Philippines turns 1, we’re putting the spotlight on Filipino music."

"Join us on October 15, 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for Billboard Philippines: Mainstage — the Year One Anniversary Celebration of the country’s music media authority."

Various artists will grace the Mainstage concert. "Experience an unforgettable night of live performances from the biggest names in OPM. This is the musical celebration you’ve been waiting for," Billboard Philippines revealed.

Among the artists who will be performing are Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, SB19, BINI, Ben&Ben, Yeng Constantino, Moira, Erik Santos, James Reid, KZ Tandingan, Maki, and TJ Monterde.

It was on October 15, 2023 when Billboard Philippines was launched as one of the new international editions of Billboard.

"We will promote inclusivity by embracing all forms and genres of our music. We will push for diversity by featuring artists across the nation stepping out from our comfort zones in the metro," Anne Bernisca, Chief Operating Officer of Modern Media Group, remarked during the launch of Billboard Philippines last year.

She went on: "Expect us to boost global collaborations for our artists and music to be discovered and rediscovered by the greater audience. We will be purposeful and publish content that is committed and supportive to the local music industry to promote Filipino culture through music."

In March this year, the magazine held the first-ever Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards.

Among the awardees at the ceremony were Regine Velasquez who received the Powerhouse award, BINI who received the Rising Star Awards, and Moira dela Torre who received the Hitmaker Award.

Last August, Billboard Philippines announced that SB19 and BINI were chosen to receive the Voices of Asia Award at the Billboard Korea's "Billboard K Power 100" in Seoul for their "groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their unwavering championing of P-Pop on the global stage."
