BINI members Jhoanna Robles, Maloi Ricalde, Colet Vergara and Mikha Lim graced the advanced screening of the BINI docuseries titled Chapter One: Born To Win on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Gateway Cineplex Cinema 11.

The event was well-attended by ABS-CBN executives, including Chairman Mark Lopez and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi, along with fans of the eight-member group collectively known as Blooms.

Chapter One: Born to Win chronicles BINI's humble beginnings, giving each member her moment to shine as the documentary showcased their transformation over the years. The series opens by introducing each member’s story before entering the entertainment industry, and what inspired them to audition for Star Hunt in 2018, where their journey began. From the intense selection process to the grueling challenges of their trainee days, the film captures the group’s hardships, including Gwen’s temporary departure and eventual return, the heartbreaking loss of Sheena’s mother during the pandemic, and the hope that their hard work would finally be recognized.

The documentary also highlighted their breakthrough hit “Pantropiko”, which marked a turning point in their careers, and their preparation for their first concert series, BINIverse, held at the New Frontier Theater. Originally set for one night, the concert extended to a three-day run on June 28, 29, and 30, 2024 due to overwhelming demand. Challenges during the concert series, such as Aiah’s battle with anxiety and Gwen’s exhaustion, were also documented, showing the group’s dedication and resilience.

As the screening ended, Jhoanna, Maloi, Colet, and Mikha became emotional and shared a heartfelt moment as they huddled together in their seats.
