Korean star Kim Myung-soo, also known as L of K-pop boy group Infinite, spent the best night with Filipino OVEs and Inspirits during his REBOOT Asia tour in Manila last August 10 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

Presented by DNM Entertainment, the South Korean idol-turned-actor had unforgettable moments with his fans as he performed his songs and played along with them during his fan meeting.

“Hello! Ako po si Kim Myung-soo. Kamusta? Namiss ko po kayo. Samahan niyo po akong gumawa ng ‘di makakalimutang alalala today,” Myungsoo said in Filipino.

His Filipino fans who had waited for his return after four years were at their happiest as Myung-soo acknowledged the warm welcome and support from them.

“It’s been such a long time since I’ve been here in Manila. If I knew that you would be warmly welcoming me here in Manila, I would have gone more often,” he said as translated by the interpreter.

Myung-soo also shared exciting news with his fans about his upcoming solo projects and the much-awaited album with his group Infinite.

“I will be shooting a lot of drama as well,” he revealed. “I’ll do my best as well for Infinite album and my second album as well. And in the future I will come back here in Manila.”

The Korean star also performed songs from his recently released album 24/7 such as “My Universe”, and “What Not To Love”. He also sang the Shut Up Flower Boy Band theme “Love U Like U”, and his group’s song “Real Story”.

Myungsoo also performed Radiohead’s “Creep” and an a cappella version of his other songs as requested by fans.

He then had a question and answer portion with the “Hello Myung-soo” segment where he shared why he named his tour Reboot.

“For me, it means I want to start again, and I would also like to have new beginnings with you guys as well. At siyempre mayroon din akong bagong album and bagong songs so I want to put that meaning to this Reboot,” he explained.

He also revealed his favorite song from his solo album.

“Actually, those songs on the album have the feeling of 24 hours or 24/7,” he said. “Those songs are perfect for each hour of the day and I think for this hour the perfect song is 'My Universe'. So I think, 'My Universe.'”

When asked which group member he would join on a trip, Myung-soo shared that he would pick the "wittiest one."

“All our members are energetic. Ang taas ng tension nila at ng energy level nila,” he answered. “Pero out of all those, the thought I have right now is, Nam Woohyun. Syempre lahat ng members ay witty pero yung siya yung pinaka-witty sa tingin ko. Siya po ang pinaka-comedian para sa akin.”

The Korean star then showcased his dancing skills as he recreated his “Tiramisu Cake” dance challenge onstage and danced along other K-pop dance trends.

Myung-soo also showed the power of his dimples in a trend he posted making fans cheer.

“I never imagined that Filipino fans would be very cheerful,” he said.

He then answered the question about being dubbed as the OG (original) K-pop visual).

“It’s such a very very great compliment. I’m very happy but I’m very shy. The thing I can do, I think I would have to bring more kind of visuals. I will do it since 15 years ago. I should really, really take care of myself until my 20th year, 25th year. I should be that one person that you can always be proud of,” he remarked.

Myung-soo also prepared a video of him writing in his diary about his preparations for his Reboot fan meet while he thinks of all his fans supporting him throughout the years.

“I always want to show a new side of myself, so I thought a lot about it and I feel good about it,” he said in the video.

Filipino OVEs and Inspirits also unlocked another fan milestone as Myung-soo prepared several games where he personally interacted with his fans and prepared some gifts for them, including signed albums, posters, and exclusive polaroids.

“Actually it's been such a long time since I came to Manila, and it was really, really fun. I will never forget the passionate cheer of my fans, and I was able to learn this ('eyyy') fun gesture as well,” he said in the latter part of the event.

“It was really, really fun and I will make sure that I will come back here to Manila in the nearest future,” he promised.

Myung-soo also posted a reel on his Instagram page where he went to different places around Manila and expressed gratitude to all his fans.

“Thank you to all the Filipino fans who joined the start of 'Reboot' Part 2! It was so nice to see you again after such a long time! See you again! eyyy 🤙🏼,” he wrote.

He also posted another “Eyyyy” in the comment section.
