The teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action movie of Snow White was released by Disney on Saturday, August 10.

In the trailer, Rachel Zegler plays the role of Snow White while Gal Gadot portrays the Evil Queen.

The clip also features the song “Whistle While You Work” performed by Rachel.

The trailer also gives a sneak peek of the seven dwarves in the movie.

In an interview with Variety, Rachel said that it's "been an honor of a lifetime" to play the Disney princess.

"I think any young person, any little girl if you get to put on a Disney princess dress and be her for a day let alone six months… it’s just been the most amazing experience and I can't wait to share it with you all," she remarked.

Meanwhile, Gal highlighted how she enjoyed playing a role that is far different from her previous portrayals.

"It was a lot of fun to get to do something that is completely different than anything I’ve ever done before," she stated.

The actress added. "She’s delicious, she’s evil, she’s magical. We got to sing all these different songs. It was incredible."

According to Walt Disney Studios, Disney’s Snow White "is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film."

The original story follows the young Snow White, who runs away from her stepmother, the Evil Queen, who grows envious of her beauty. Snow White takes refuge in a cottage inhabited by seven dwarves.

"The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy," Disney highlighted.

The film is directed by Marc Webb, produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall as the executive producer. The movie includes new original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

The trailer has already gained more than 3 million views as of this writing on Walt Disney's YouTube channel.

Fans online were also quick to express their excitement about the live action movie.

Snow White is set to be released on March 21, 2025.
