SB19’s entertainment label, 1Z Entertainment, revealed through an Instagram post last July 30 that they have begun taking legal actions against several netizens for defamatory posts. In their official statement, the label asked netizens to engage in a “positive online community.”

This move comes after several netizens have been posting fake news about the company’s artists on their social media accounts.

“1Z Entertainment strongly condemns the dissemination of false information and defamatory statements targeting our artists. We implore fans to refrain from engaging in such behavior towards any artist,” 1Z Entertainment wrote.

The entertainment label added that they are currently looking for the owners of the said accounts that have maligned their artists on social media.

“Legal action has been initiated against accounts involved in these malicious acts, and we are diligently working to identify and address the individuals responsible,” they added.

“We encourage everyone to promote a respectful and positive online community,” they ended.

Fans of SB19 expressed their gratitude for 1Z Entertainment’s swift action as they are concerned over the potential damage of the image of their idols on social media, even giving a link where they could report SB19’s bashers.

“Finally! We stan a management that stands by and protects its artists,” a fan wrote.

“Dapat talaga with legal actions, para alam nila na di basta basta pwede mga ganyang false accusations. Ang daming nag kalat kahit sa Tiktok,” another fan added.

Meanwhile, SB19 is set to hold a grand thanksgiving event on October 26 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City for their sixth year anniversary in the industry. Ticket prices and seat plans have yet to be revealed by the organizers as of this writing.

SB19 made their debut back in 2018 with their single "Tilaluha" which was followed by one of their hit songs, "Go Up." Since then, the P-Pop boy group has been producing several hit songs such as "Gento," "What?," "MAPA," and "Bazinga," among others.
