"Can't wait for this! 😍🥰 Fighting!!!!" another fan posted.

According to a report by mydaily.co.kr as translated by Soompi, So-min takes on the role of Bae Seok Ryu, a woman looking to turn her life around after facing some tough times. Meanwhile, Hae-in plays Choi Seung Hyo, the son of her mom’s friend, who she once saw as a dark and embarrassing part of her past.

When they unexpectedly cross paths again, both at pivotal moments in their lives, their relationship takes a surprising turn.

"Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min will transform into the opposite-sex friends that everyone wishes they had. The two actors’ realistic and uncontrived acting will immerse viewers more deeply in their characters’ relationship and history," the production team shared in a statement.

They went on: "Please keep an eye on Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu’s embarrassing history that each of them has recorded in their memories, as well as the new stories that will be written after the two of them reunite."

Love Next Door is directed by Yoo Je-won and written by Shin Ha-eun. They previously worked together in the K-Drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.

So-min previously starred in the series Alchemy of Souls, Monthly Magazine Home, Soul Mechanic, and Be Melodramatic, among others.

Hae-in previously headlined the series Connect, D.P., Snowdrop, A Piece of Your Mind, and Something in the Rain, among others.

In August 2023, Hae-in staged a fan meet in Manila just in time for his 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry titled the "10th Season."

"Thank you so much for all the support even if I am far away. In my memory, Filipino fans are really bright and they have amazing smiles despite the very hot weather in the country. They have amazing energy," he remarked in a previous interview with ABS-CBN News.

He added: "More than being thankful, I receive a lot of energy from my Filipino fans."
