Dominique Cojuangco, daughter of businessman Tonyboy Cojuangco and actress Gretchen Barretto, and her husband Michael Hearn have welcomed their first child.

The 28-year-old announced the arrival of her first child, Penelope Eloise, via a social media post on Wednesday, May 29. Dominique shared a touching photo of her newborn's tiny hand adorned in a onesie, capturing the joy and tenderness of this significant milestone.

“It’s been a week of bliss,” Dominique expressed in her caption. She went on to reveal the challenges and rewards of her pregnancy, saying, “Five two-hour lipid IV drips and two hundred and forty-two Heparin injections, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of my pregnancy. Michael and I are delighted to welcome our little wiggler from inside my womb. Thank you, Lord.”

The announcement followed the couple's initial revelation in November 2023 that they were expecting their first child. Dominique's journey to motherhood has been eagerly followed by her fans and supporters, who have witnessed her relationship with Michael blossom over the years.

They first met during their school days at the British School Manila. However, it wasn't until 2018 that they saw each other “in a different light.”

Dominique recounted the moment during a magazine interview, recalling a chance encounter at Michael's newly opened bar. “It was at that moment that we looked at each other differently and we were shocked to have the same experience,” she shared.

Their relationship deepened over the years, culminating in a romantic engagement in October 2021. The couple then tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in March 2023, with a grand reception held at the National Museum of Natural History in Manila.
