Under Parallel Skies held its gala premiere night in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday, May 7 at Siam Paragon's Cineplex.

Present at the premiere night were the lead stars of the film, Thai actor Win Metawin and Filipino actress Janella Salvador. Movie director Sigrid Bernardo and the executive producers from 28 Squared Studios, Richard Juan and Kristhoff Cagape, also graced the event.

Under Parallel Skies is the first romance film from the Philippines distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in Thailand.

"The fact that we are here now with Warner Bros., an international powerhouse distributing our film and believing on this project, I think it further highlights what a special this project this is," Richard remarked during a question and answer session in front of the fans at the Cineplex Paragon on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Janella expressed her elation to bring the movie to Thailand after it premiered in the Philippines.

"It's my first international movie and I am very proud to be part of this project and to work with Win of course," she stated.

Janella recalled: "It was easy to work with Win because he was always been nice, he was always been generous, he always shares his food."

Directed and written by award-winning director Sigrid Bernardo, Under Parallel Skies follows the story of a Thai bachelor named Parin who travels to Hong Kong in search of his missing mother. He encounters a Filipino hotel receptionist named Iris who helps him navigate love, heartbreak, and healing in the foreign city amid their differences in culture and identity.

Under Parallel Skies is now showing in Thailand in 104 cinemas. It's also currently showing in Singapore and Laos.

The movie will also be released in Indonesia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
