Her second look for the night, an elegant white gown, further solidified her status as a fashion icon. She was introduced as an actress “who is the most influential in the Philippines,” before she took the stage.

Before presenting the award, Francine introduced herself as an “actress, model, vlogger, and singer.”

“Good evening, everyone. I am Francine Diaz. I am an actress from the Philippines. For starters, it’s an honor to be invited to [this ceremony] where music becomes one,” she said in her speech. “Actually, I am an actress, model, vlogger, and a singer.”

Briefly, Francine also shared her love for music, sharing her recent collaboration with South Korean actor-singer Seo In-guk on the single “My Love.” The song, according to Seo In-guk, was tailored to suit Francine’s “bright personality”, and helped showcase her versatility as an artist and her growing influence beyond the Philippine industry.

Francine’s endearing mispronunciation of TXT’s name as “Tomorrow times together,” (Tomorrow by Together) elicited laughter from netizens, yet despite the slip-up, fans dubbed her as “our multiplication queen,” turning a moment of lightheartedness into a memorable social media moment.

Aside from this mispronunciation, another most talked about moment came when Francine shared a behind-the-scenes encounter with Girls’ Generation member, Kwon Yuri, and the K-pop boy group Fantasy Boys.

Announced as a guest only days prior to the event, Francine’s presence at the ceremony underscored her rising prominence on an international scale.

The Asia Star Entertainment Awards is organized by South Korean media outlets, Newsen and Star1.
