Can't Buy Me Love star Anthony Jennings admitted that he is still overwhelmed by the success of his tandem with Maris Racal dubbed by fans as "SnoopRene" or "SnoRene."

"Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm. Di ko rin inexpect na tatanggapin ng ganun, of course alam naman natin Filipino culture na mahal na mahal nila 'yung romcom, di ba? Iyon talaga 'yung nagpapasaya sa kanila and happy naman ako na nag-work 'yung mga eksena namin," he said in an interview with online show PUSH Bets Live.

Anthony added that he also attributes the success of SnoRene to Maris, whom he described as someone who has the same kind of humor as himself.

"Of course si Maris magaling naman talaga siya eh and alam mo 'yun nagco-connect kami sa isa't isa, parehas kami ng humor and rare nga 'yung makatagpo ka ng someone na alam mo 'yun, makakapagpatawa kayo ng parehas," he stated.

In the same interview, Anthony opened up about his romantic life. The actor shared that he has a girlfriend. "Matagal na kami, five years na kami," he relayed.

The actor shared that his girlfriend is very supportive of his career. "Support naman siya sa lahat ng ginagawa ko. Lagi ko naman sinasabi sa kanya and siyempre communication is the key pa rin talaga. Kailangan pa rin kausapin, ipaintindi 'yung line of work mo kasi sa showbiz mahirap intindihin 'yung trabaho natin. And happy naman ako kasi minsan ka lang din makatagpo ng tao na nakakaintindi ng ginagawa mo," he remarked.

Aside from his girlfriend, Anthony shared that his family is also very supportive of his career especially of his tandem with Maris.

"Oo sobrang tuwang-tuwa [siya], di lang siya pati 'yung family ko rin, mga kamag-anak ko, pati 'yung mga kamag-anak ko rin sa UK. Nakakatuwa lang din. Nao-overwhelm lang din ako 'Snoop,' tinatawag ka kahit saan kaya masarap sa pakiramdam," he said.

When asked if there are already new projects lined up for him and Maris, Anthony replied: "As far as I know parang may mga ideas naman po na pumapasok pero hindi ko pa rin po alam eh."

"Pero meron naman for sure siguro and I think handa naman kaming parehas gawin 'yun ni Maris and of course siya rin naman sinasabi niya rin naman support rin naman 'yung sa side niya and sa side ko suportado rin naman," he added.
