Sandara Park expressed her excitement about the upcoming two-day concert of 2NE1 in the Philippines.

Composed of Sandara, CL, Park Bom, and Minzy, the K-Pop group is set to stage the Manila leg of their Welcome Back tour at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 16 and 17.

"Hindi ko ma-express in words kasi iba talaga para sa akin ang concert na ito. Babalik kami after 10 years, kasama ko ang 2NE1, dream come true para sa akin," she remarked in an interview with ABS-CBN News.  

The singer admitted that she got worried initially if they would be able to sell out their arena concert in the country.  

"Noong una, worried talaga ako kasi alam niyo naman, hindi madaling ma-sold out ang isang arena. Alam niyo naman ‘yun. Ano kayang mangyayari kapag hindi ma-sold out?" she recalled.

"Lagot ako, kasi si Boss YG sabi niya ‘Sandara, ikaw na bahala diyan sa Pilipinas ha?’ Oo naman, pero iniisip ko talaga paano 'yan pag hindi sold out sobrang worried ako noon pero na-sold out ito in few minutes tapos may Day 2 pa, so parang I can sleep well,” she remarked.

Sandara highlighted that she and the rest of the 2NE1 members have been feeling the love from their Filipino fans ahead of the concert.

"Nakikita ko ‘yung mga pictures and videos nila sa social media. Ngayon pa lang nasusuot na nila ‘yung mga official merch namin yung bago! Ang bilis naman nila! Ang bilis ng mga shipping. Sobrang cute!" she stated.

The singer added: "They dress like 21 pati yung hair and makeup nila and sumasayaw sila sa music namin. Sobrang cute talaga."

When asked why the group decided to go on tour in different parts of Asia, Sandara replied: "Tinanong nila 15 years ago nung nag-debut kami, ano 'yung dreams niyo? Dream namin magkaroon ng sariling concert. Hindi number one, hindi awards, wala 'yun. Gusto kasi namin 'yung performing on stage with the fans."

She went on: "Iyon talaga 'yung dream namin, before and hanggang ngayon and lalo na ngayon talagang bumalik na kami after ten years. We want to meet our fans all over Asia, all over the world ito talaga hinintay namin," she stated.
