OPM icon and It’s Showtime host Ogie Alcasid announced his upcoming concert with the nation’s girl group BINI and Tawag Ng Tanghalan Duets champions JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano as his special guests.

On his social media pages, the singer and songwriter shared the details of his concert, including the date and guests for his OGIEOKE 2 Reimagined.

“On NOV 30 join me for OGIEOKE 2 REIMAGINED with my guests JMIELE and BINI!! Get your tickets now!!” he said in the caption.

The show is set to be held in Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. It will also be directed by Paolo Bustamante and musical director Bobby Velasco.

Fans can watch the Ogie perform live for as low as ₱1,500. Here are the ticket prices:

During Martin Nievera’s  The King 4eve’ concert, Ogie revealed to Abante that he would be sharing the stage with the eight-member Filipino girl group BINI. He also expressed excitement about performing with them.

Fans couldn’t help to express anticipation at the “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” singer-songwriter's concert.

“Already asked for reservation. I'll be watching this alone. Sakto I just saw my old clips of you Kuys Idol Ogie when you were featuring 'Nakakalokal' in a media conference. Also, I always go back to your ASAP performances and tributes almost always every week. Congratulations in advance!” a fan said.

Another netizen expressed, “Bini x Ogie OMG😍 I can see songwriters Colet and Sir Ogie in da house."

“Thank you kuya ogie, makakapunta ako ng dahil sayo and pati narin pinamanifesting ko na to makita ang BINI 🥹,” another one commented.

OGIEOKE was first staged in 2023 where he performed several most-loved and requested Karaoke songs. 

In a previous interview with Philstar.com, Ogie shared the inspiration behind his previous concert.

“The reason why I came up with the title is because one time I was exchanging ideas with my manager Leo Dominguez, there was a mistake in his text message, wherein he said, ‘Sige, Ogieoke.’ Ogie-oke, (that’s a good title), I told him. He said which one? ‘Ogieoke.’ It’s like videoke, rockaoke, Ogieoke,” the OPM icon explained, referring to his late manager Leo.

He added: “But, it was really to make it fun. You know, with concerts, when you go there, you’re so formal, you’re so stiff, and I wanted it to be lively. In fact, for my opening, I wrote a theme song and incorporated my spiels to the song so that when you watch the concert, you will understand why I’m doing it.”

Ogie also added how the show highlighted the Filipino culture of singing.

“We love singing. It’s our way of releasing our stresses in life and in all gatherings, there’s always videoke. If you’ve noticed, we have many game shows that incorporate the videoke,” he stated.

Meanwhile, BINI is set to also hold their three-day sold out “Grand BINIverse” concert in November 16 to 18 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
