Kim Chiu has added another feather to her cap, this time for earning a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the prestigious 29th Asian Television Awards 2024.

Kim took to social media to express her gratitude for this recognition for her work on What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.  

"Nakaka iyak naman to!!!😭 diko alam kung naiyak ako sa antok or nakaka overwhelm na mga pangyayari. LORD!!! THANK YOU!! SOBRANG THANK YOU!!! SIR DEO THANK YOU!!! 😭😭😭❤️ GRABE!! Capslock para intense!!! SECRETARY KIM THANK YOU!!!" Kim posted on her Instagram page.

The Kapamilya star remarked that the nomination means a lot to her saying: "Alam ko nomination palang to pero parang nanalo ako sa ASIA @asiantvawards sa Jakarta!!! Dyosko!!🥹 Lord nawala antok at puyat ko!! Ayaw ko na matulog, baka may maganda pang balitang darating!!!!🙏🏻 team #WhatsWrongWithSecretaryKimPH #WWWSKPH direk @cvovidanes @dreamscapeph THANK YOU PO," she said.

Fans online were quick to congratulate Kim.

Aside from Kim, other nominees for Best Actress In A Leading Role are Robyn Malcolm of After The Party (Australia), Zhou Xun of Imperfect Victim (China), Wu Jin-Yan of The Double (China), Charmaine Sheh of The QUEEN of News (Hong Kong), Selena Lee of The QUEEN of News (Hong Kong), and Ma Sichun of Islands (China).

The 29th Asian Television Awards will take place on November 29 and 30 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As per the award-giving body's website, the nominated programs "must be broadcast, cablecast, webcast or posted online for the first time in the Asia Pacific region during the period from July 1, 2023 through July 30th, 2024."

The Asian Television Awards is "the largest entertainment, content, and broadcast awards in the Asia Pacific."
