This is what Filipina drag queen Maxie Andreison said as she recalled her journey before winning the third season of Drag Race Philippines Superstar.

“Hirap ng buhay ang nag-udyok sa’kin para laging lumaban. Ambisyosa ako e. Gusto ko maginhawa ang pamilya ko. Kaya nung unang panalo ko sa amateur singing contest, tinuloy tuloy ko na. Sabi ko - ito.. dito.. ipagpapatuloy ko ‘to. Baka ito ang makatulong sa'min,” Maxie first wrote.

“Mahal na mahal ko sila kaya gustong gusto ko sila bigyan ng magandang buhay. Sila ang mga unang tao na naniwala sa talento ko,” she added.

Maxie also recalled the time when she felt a bit lost but still continued to hold on to her faith, saying, “Nung kaya ko na mag-isa sa mga pag laban ko, mas madami akong natutunan. May mga araw na umiiyak ako kase napanghihinaan na ko, pero nagdadasal lang ako, lagi akong naniniwala sa Kanya kase alam kong gagabayan Nya ko.”
Maxie also recalled the time when she felt a bit lost but still continued to hold on to her faith, saying, “Nung kaya ko na mag-isa sa mga pag laban ko, mas madami akong natutunan. May mga araw na umiiyak ako kase napanghihinaan na ko, pero nagdadasal lang ako, lagi akong naniniwala sa Kanya kase alam kong gagabayan Nya ko.”
She then eventually found a community which became her platform to get to know herself even more and met people who helped her become who she is now.

“Nung nag-mature na ko, napasok ako sa industriyang napaka-kulay at napaka-saya. Dito ko mas lalong nakilala ang sarili ko. Dito ko na-discover pa lalo ang mga talento ko. Ang komunidad na ito ay hindi madamot, masaya sya at matalino,” she remarked.
“Nung nag-mature na ko, napasok ako sa industriyang napaka-kulay at napaka-saya. Dito ko mas lalong nakilala ang sarili ko. Dito ko na-discover pa lalo ang mga talento ko. Ang komunidad na ito ay hindi madamot, masaya sya at matalino,” she remarked.
She went on: “Madami akong nakilala at nakasalamuha, at nagpapasalamat ako sa mga taong naniwala at nakitaan ako ng potensyal.”
