Dominic Roque shared that his wedding with Bea Alonzo will happen in the second quarter of the year.  The actor also revealed that it will be a destination wedding which will be held out of the country.

He further relayed that they are still yet to complete the list of their principal sponsors for the wedding.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Dominic shared that Bea is leading the preparations for their wedding.

"I think naman sa lahat, mas hands on ang mga babae kasi nagtanong na rin ako sa mga kaibigan ko na mga lalaki. Kasi minsan 'diba para naaasar 'yung mga babae kapag walang pakialam yung mga lalaki, pero actually hindi naman sa ganun," he said.

He added: "'Yung mga kaibigan kong kinasal, mas ganun din sila eh. Mas hands-on 'yung mga babae. (Kami), basta may alak, okay na."

Dominic highlighted that he still does share his input for the wedding.

It was in July 2023, when Bea and Dominic got engaged.

Bea announced their engagement on social media.

"It was a balmy afternoon in Las Casas. I was there for a shoot, but little did I know that the next thing that would happen would change our lives forever," Bea shared in a post last year.

"In the middle of the shoot, Mark Nicdao kept telling me to turn around because he wanted to shoot the back side of my dress, I found it a bit odd, but when I turned around, I found Dom kneeling with a box in his hand," she added.

The actress said that even though she filmed various engagement scenes in her previous acting projects, experiencing it in real life was one of a kind.

"You see, I have done so many proposal scenes in my entire career, but nothing beats the real thing," she stated.

The actress recalled: "Everything went in slow motion. And I felt different emotions all at the same time—joy, excitement, love. I started bawling (swipe to see my ugly cry 🤣), But I didn’t want that moment to end. I want this real thing to happen forever… and right then there… In front of the people we love… we decided on forever.. 💍"
