Actress Angelica Panganiban and her fiancé Gregg Homan celebrated the first birthday of their daughter Amila Sabine. 

On Instagram, Angelica shared photos taken by Cocoon Studio PH from her daughter’s birthday bash held at Mangrove Resort in Subic last September 23.

“Our little cheeky baby’s first trip around the sun,” she captioned her post. 

Present during the celebration were family and friends of the couple, including Angelica’s Banana Sundae castmates Jayson Gainza, Sunshine Garcia, and Climaco, as well as Glaiza de Castro, JC Santos, and Alora Sasam.

On Amila’s actual birthday on September 20, Angelica took to social media to share her heartwarming message for her baby daughter.

“Punong puno ng takot ang buong pagkatao ko ng ganitong oras last year. Marahil dahil sa dami ng mga hindi ko alam gawin. Sa lahat ng duda. At nang sa hindi ko na mapigilan ang grand entrance mo. Pero sa kabila ng lahat ng kaba, ikaw ang nag gabay sa 'kin kung pa'no maging isang ina. Hindi perpekto, pero sapat. 'Yun naman ang mahalaga. Salamat salamat salamat ng paulit-ulit sa pinakamasayang chapter ng buhay ko,” she wrote.

“Happy birthday love. Isang taon na kong baliw sayo. Ilang taon pa kaya tayo magiging baliw sa isat isa? Mahal na mahal kita ng wagas,” she added.

Amila is the first daughter of Angelica and Gregg, who got engaged in October 2022 after more than two years of being a couple.

Previously on their vlog “The Homans,” the couple revealed that they plan to tie the knot early next year.

"We were going to get married last year pero we wanted to make Bean (their daughter) a part of it," Gregg said. "So we are going to do it early next year. We are looking at places locally to do it. But I am excited for it.”

Meanwhile, Angelica said that they’ve postponed their wedding twice already. She's confident that their wedding will push through this time.

"Parang twice na naming dinelay yung wedding. Last year and this year, dapat aalis kami. Ilang beses naming triny mag-elope pero parang ayaw ng mundo na itago namin. Malakas magdasal 'yung mga kaibigan at ang family members namin. So ngayon mukhang matutuloy na siya," she said.

She added, "Meron na kaming save the date, sinabi na namin siya sa mga kapamilya namin abroad para makapagtipid na sila, makapag-ipon na. [So] sa mga friends namin na sobrang busy 'yung schedule nila sa life, marami silang commitments, inunahan na namin sila na i-save na 'yung araw na iyon."
