Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez are proud parents to their daughter Atasha, who recently landed on the cover of lifestyle magazine Mega for its September 2023 issue.

On Instagram, Aga couldn't help but express how proud he is of his daughter as he shared photos from Atasha's cover shoot with Mega.

“I’ll never forget the day I first held you in my arms when you were born. One of the best days of my life. Fast forward to now… here you are, all grown up. Bilis talaga ng panahon. You make me proud, ‘tash! Everyone around you and I, your family do appreciate all your hard work!” he wrote.

“Continue to fly and soar high my little one. You got this! Spread love and kindness always. Continue to inspire and be inspired. God loves you. We all do. At the end of the day, no matter what, your family will always be here to support you, embrace you and love you. Kaya mo yan! Work hard and pray hard. God is with you. Salamat din po sa inyong lahat na sumusuporta sa aming pamilya. Mahal namin kayong lahat. We do appreciate you all,” he added.

Charlene also shared photos from Atasha’s cover shoot and expressed her joy over her daughter’s latest milestone.

“So happy for you, my love @atashamuhlach_. Thank you @mega_magazine,” she wrote.

Atasha, 22, has recently followed in the footsteps of her parents by entering showbiz. She signed a management contract with Viva Artists Agency (VAA) last July.

“I always tried my best and made sure I did my best in school. But when they saw that I’m ready, they said, ‘Go, spread your wings and fly’,” Atasha said.

“My dad has been nothing but supportive and so does my mom.”

She added, “Personally, I really would love to try everything. I sing, I would like to dance, I perform and I’m willing to act. I don’t really want to close my doors on anything, but as of now, I’m just taking it one step at a time.”

Atasha — who has a twin brother named Andres — said she doesn’t feel any pressure to measure up to her parents' fame and success.

“I wouldn’t say it’s hard. I wouldn’t also say I’m pressured. If anything, I really look up to my parents,” she said. “Of course, I do admire them. If ever, I’m just encouraged to somewhat be like them and to really take their guidance and see how far I can go in this industry.”
