“Nakakainis si Christian,” commented actress Jennica Garcia, referring to Dirty Linen co-star Christian Bables. “Ito hindi ko pa nababahagi, hindi ko pa siya nasha-share.”

In a reel shared by entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, Jennica recalled the time when she and Christian were about to do a kissing scene.

“Grabe ‘yung anxiety ko sa eksena na ‘yun, ‘yung kiss namin ni Christian,” she admitted.

Jennica shared that Christian was aware that she was getting anxious about their kissing scene, and was geting annoyed because he kept teasing her about it.

“Bago ‘yung scene namin, kinakausap niya ako sa kotse. Sabi niya dun, ‘Uubusin kita sa halik,’” shared Jennica.

Jennica agreed to the kissing scene on one condition: that Christian keeps his mouth closed.

“Huwag mong ibubukas ‘yung bibig mo,” Jennica told Christian. “‘Pag kinunan na ‘yung eksena, papayag akong mag-kiss tayo, pero huwag mong ibubukas ‘yung bibig mo.”

Instead of just complying, Christian chose to tease Jennica even more.

“Hindi, magugulat ka, mabubuntis ka, halik lang,” replied Christian.

Little did he know that Jennica had her own brand of revenge planned.

“Noong nakikita ko nang nagtoo-toothbrush siya tapos nagma-mouthwash na siya, nag-take out po ako ng [chicken inasal] ni Sir Joel (Torre), ‘yung JT’s,” she revealed. “Umorder ako ng pwet ng manok at isaw.”

Right before they did their kissing scene, Jennica ate the chicken inasal and deliberately left oil and grease on her mouth.

Christian wasn’t so easily swayed, though. Right after their kissing scene, he still went on annoying Jennica.

“Yummy, ang lambot ng bibig ni Jennica,” he teased his co-star.

The chemistry between Jennica and Christian as Lala and Max on the hit show Dirty Linen caught the attention of viewers, many of whom hoped to ship the two together.

Last Mother’s Day, Christian went out of his way to celebrate Jennica, even gifting her with a bouquet. But according to Jennica, that’s just the type of friend Christian is.

“He's the type of friend na he’ll always talk to you, message you, and call you,” she shared. "Si Christian, ma-voice message yan. Like, ime-make sure niya na hindi dadaan yung weeks or a couple of days na hindi mo siya mararamdaman.”

In a previous interview, Jennica candidly clarified their relationship.

“Wala po talagang romantic na dating or anything like that between me and Christian,” she explained. “Like, when I think of Christian, like, I look at him and I see him as a brother.”

The two actors have been friends since 2016, having worked together on a project then.

"Although yung bond namin, nag solidify lang noong Dirty Linen,” said Jennica.

Their friendship grew through the years. Jennica now considers Christian as one of her dear friends whom she is truly thankful for.

"Because, I think, in the industry that I work for, we got to have acquintances. Pero iyong real friend, medyo mahirap dito sa trabaho po namin,” she said.
