Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey went to Batangas to celebrate his special day.

On Instagram, the former Miss Universe shared photos from their week-long wellness trip at The Farm at San Benito in Lipa, Batangas to mark her husband’s birthday. Jeremy turned 39 last Wednesday, August 23.

“What birthdays look like nowadays. No late night parties dancing-drinking-getting together. Just a quiet weekend @thefarmatsanbenito to celebrate @jeremyjauncey’s birthday — in his element: nurturing nature, soaking in the views, and having the best R&R. With me of course. Happy Birthday from your little (zen) dragon,” Pia wrote.

Pia, who is turning 34 herself this September, surprised fans when she announced her marriage to Jeremy. The couple tied the knot in a private beach wedding at North Island, Seychelles on March 24.

The two first confirmed their relationship in June 2020 and announced their engagement in May 2022. They celebrated their third anniversary as a couple last December.

In a recent interview with Emirati businessman Anas Bukhash, Pia said that she and Jeremy want to have their own kids “one day,” but not at this point in her life and career.

“Jeremy is also fine with that. But in the future, we would love to have a family,” she said.

Pia added how she doesn’t see the necessity for women to bear children if they don’t want to. As an empowered woman, the Miss Universe 2015 shared how “there’s so many more things to a woman than just bearing children.”

“Some women do not want to have kids, some women want to be amazing at their careers — they want to put all their effort into that. Maybe they want to take care of their parents all their life. Maybe, they want to commit their life to social work. Maybe, they just have different plans that doesn’t mean a woman is less valuable or less capable or less able,” she shared.

“I really want to stand up for women who choose not to have kids and I respect that, I salute that. I want to [have children] eventually but I’m gonna be honest I’ve been hating that question lately,” she continued.
