Filipino alternative rock band Mayonnaise is set to wrap up the celebration of their 20th anniversary in the music industry with a concert on May 20, at the QC Circle, from 5 pm onwards.

The five-piece alt-rock band will culminate their 20th anniversary celebration at a venue known for its iconic point of convergence: a heritage park that welcomes family-friendly and diverse gatherings.

Dubbed as MAYO 20: The Finale, the anniversary concert of Mayonnaise is presented by Yellow Room Music and Killer Bear, and supported by Minsan Studios and Araw Sa Gabi. The iconic OPM band is expected to be performing some of their several hit songs such as “Jopay,” “Ipagpatawad Mo,” “Binalewala,” “Tayo Na Lang Dalawa,” and “Kapag Lasing Malambing,” among others.

The band’s frontman, Monty Macalino, admitted that he never thought that their band would reach two decades. He shared how this concert is a celebration of their longevity in the industry and a way to show their gratitude to their fans.

“I’m honestly surprised that we’ve made it this far. MAYO 20: The Finale is more than just a celebration of longevity and all the great things that happened to us. We want to give our fans what they truly deserve, and we want to return the favor by going all out with our performance. We will always be forever grateful to them for showering us with unconditional love and support,” he said.

It was late last year when Mayonnaise kicked off their 20th anniversary concert tour where they performed at some of the biggest venues in the country, from Luzon to Mindanao.

While the admission for the concert is free, fans may opt to buy a MAYO20 official shirt which comes with a VIP pass, for only ₱1,000. Apart from the limited edition shirt, they will have a separate entrance from the general audience and will be closer to the stage.
