Dominique Cojuangco is going to be a mother.

The fashion designer and daughter of actress Gretchen Barretto announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Michael Hern. She shared the news with her fans on Instagram alongside a video showing her husband touching her belly.

“Little blessing arriving in 2024,” she captioned her post.

Following her announcement, fans and friends of Dominique congratulated her on the milestone, including Iza Calzado, Sofia Andres, Ria Atayde, and more.

“So happy for you!!!!” wrote Iza.

“Been waiting for this announcement,” said Sofia. “Congratulations! Welcome to Motherhood.”

“Ahhhhhhh,” added Ria.

Dominique tied the knot with her husband at San Agustin Church in Manila last March 4, after over a year of being engaged.

They announced their engagement in October 2021, after more than three years of being a couple.

Chatting with Metro Magazine last year, Dominique revealed how their love story unfolded.

"Michael and I met in British School Manila way back, but it was not until Michael launched Run Rabbit Run in 2018 that we saw each other in a new light," she said.

Run Rabbit Run is the cocktail bar that Michael owns.

“It was at that moment that we looked at each other differently and we were shocked to have the same experience,” Dominique added.

Dominique, 28, is Gretchen's only daughter with her partner, business tycoon Tony Boy Cojuangco.

She is a fashion designer.

In early 2020, Dominique graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California.

Before obtaining a degree in Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising and Marketing at FIDM, she took up fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in London.

Aside from being a couple, Dominique and her fiancé are also business partners. In 2021, they put up The Collective, a skincare line that aims to "demystify skincare and beauty" to make them easily accessible to everyone, as stated on its website.
