Television host Gretchen Ho shared her experience cycling around South Korea.

In an Instagram post, Gretchen talked about the dedicated bike paths in the said country. 

"Korea maintains thousands of kilometers of bike paths that ride along rivers, coastlines, and historical landmarks," she said.

Gretchen also relayed that South Korea provides bike certification passports.

"For avid cyclists, for sure, you’ll enjoy completing the #KoreaByBike Certification Passport! There are red booths where you can collect stamps, and if you finish the bike certification paths, there’s a medal!" she said.

Gretchen also shared that there is a specific website for biking in South Korea.

"Galing din nung website nila because all the info you need is there - koreabybike.com, including which hotels to stay, how to rent bikes, food establishments near and all the bike paths!" she said.

The TV host added: "Most impressive is their cycling infrastructure though."

Gretchen's biking adventure in South Korea aired in her program called Woman In Action on October 14 on TV5. 

The full version of her South Korean adventure aired on ONE PH last Sunday, October 15.

Followers of Gretchen were quick to express their desire to try biking in South Korea as well.

"Need to add that to my list," one fan said.

"OMG I LOVE THIS! One more reason to go back to South Korea," another fan wrote.

Woman In Action is a travel infotainment show hosted by Gretchen, which premiered on One News in September 2022.

In August this year, Woman In Action was awarded Best TV Public Affairs Program by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). 

Aside from being the host of the show, Gretchen also serves as its producer.

"Hindi inaasahan na darating ito. Maraming salamat PMAP Makatao Awards sa parangal," she wrote on her Instagram page upon receiving the award.

She added: "Marami na rin ang nagtanong sa akin kung bakit nga ba sinubukan kong ipagsabay ang @womaninactionph sa mga news programs ko sa Cignal at TV5. Travel show pa. Baliw. Ang sinasagot ko lang.. dahil alam kong kailangan kong gawin ito, nandyan na yung oportunidad, at wala nang ibang panahon."

"When you are called by the Lord to do something, no matter how absurd it may seem, you don’t hesitate, but you step up to the plate and say yes wholeheartedly," she continued.
