For the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Erich Barretto, the youngest child of Marjorie Barretto, has returned to school to attend limited in-person classes.

This Tuesday, April 5, the former actress took to Instagram to share her thoughts about Erich finally returning to school after more than two years of just attending online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Slowly but surely our children are going back to normal, our new normal… I can’t believe it’s been more than 2 yrs since I last dropped her off to school. She is so grown up now compared to the grade 2 student that she was that time, her uniform 2 sizes bigger now!" said Marjorie.

"She will be reunited with her classmates now, and will finally have kids her own age to chat and play with. She seems happy, that makes our 2 hours in traffic getting to school worth it."

This update from Marjorie comes nearly two months after she had her youngest daughter vaccinated against COVID-19 in early February.

At the time, the former actress described the milestone as an "answered prayer" for her and her family, saying, "Erich was the only one unvaccinated in our home, and each time someone close to us gets covid, we worry sick over her."

Aside from Erich, Marjorie has four other children — vlogger Dani, actress Julia, singer Claudia, and Leon.

Erich, who is turning 10 this April, is Marjorie's daughter with former Caloocan City mayor and congressman Enrico “Recom” Echiverri."
