During her official launch as the face of a popular Japanese makeup brand, KC Concepcion said she was thrilled to be chosen as their first ever female endorser in the country. “I’ve always loved this brand. Kahit saan ka sa mundo magpunta, meron nito and ke teen ka or tumatanda ka na, everyone all across ages, lahat gumagamit talaga nito and ang gaganda ng balat nila so I’m very happy to be the first Filipina face of the Shiseido. So at least meron tayong representation sa ganitong global brand,” she shared during the Shiseido press launch held last September 9 in Makati City.

KC shared she was happy to be back in the limelight at the product launch. “I’ve missed this work so much and of course I’m always online sa digital world. Lagi talaga akong nag-she-share sa mga followers ko about my beauty secrets, ganun. My shade here is Linen and this foundation is my favorite foundation. Rave ako ng rave about itong foundation na ito and I really love it. Hindi ka mahuhulas (laughs) 24 hours siya and it’s very refreshing, very fresh yung itsura ng mga nagsusuot nito. Talagang anything beauty and fashion, I am so inspired especially recently, hinatid namin yung sister ko sa New York. And then it was summer so nakabihis lahat ng tao and everyone was out. Parang nakaka-inspire yung energy ng ganun. So pag-uwi ko dito sabi ko, ‘Gusto ko ng magbihis, gusto ko ng mag-makeup!” she said.

Although she has remained mum about whether or not she and French businessman Pierre Lassart have already permanently parted ways, KC indirectly confirmed their split with her current status. “I’m fresh. As fresh as my foundation (laughs). I’m open. I’m open. Yes. I am (open to dating). Dating around (laughs),” she said
