Aside from her daughter Angeline receiving an exemplary conduct award from her school, Sunshine Cruz was also happy and especially proud of her eldest child’s recent signing with Star Magic. “Nag go-see siya diyan. I was expecting nga before na, ‘Ay baka hindi ka makapasok kasi sabi niya I really want to do it mom.’ Sabi ko, ‘Basta ba wala kang pasok go.’ So nung nag go-see siya, nabalitaan ko pumasok. While yung iba nagta-tumbling pa di ba?” she shared.

The Malamaya star shared that her daughter is really serious about pursuing a career in showbiz. Sabi niya, ‘Teach me how to cry, Mom. Teach me how to do this.’

One of the conditions that Shine gave her daughter was to always prioritize her education even if she is already earning money. “For now yes because for me studies muna talaga. Mauuna muna nag pag-aaral. Kaya ko pa naman mag-provide for them so hindi nila kailangan kalimutan ang pag-aaral nila para lang kumita ng pera. So for now, hobby, passion nila, kung gusto nila why not? But dapat alam nila yung prioridad nila which is studies,” she added.

Since Angelina is still a teenager, there is the high possibility of her to become part of a love team. Sunshine said this is not a problem for her. “Okay lang. Walang problema. Mas may respeto yun. Pero kung itatago, magkikita kayo somewhere na hindi alam ng mommy mo, paano pa ma-a-advise-an ng mommy mo yung tao?” she explained.

The hands-on mom admitted that her daughter already has suitors but has not had a boyfriend. “Meron na pero wala na. Na-basted na. May ganun siya. Matalinong bata yan. Alam niya prioridad niya at nagpapatulong pa sa akin kung paano niya sasabihin sa lalake, kung ano yung sasabihin niya na hindi ma-o-offend or masasaktan yung lalake,” she said.
