Julia Barretto disabled her comments section on Instagram amid rumors linking her to the reported rift between Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.

Julia also posted a new Instagram update on Monday, not to address the said rumors but to share an update about her upcoming movie.

"We’re down to our last few days of shooting “Block Z” and while it’s been quite busy and hectic again, I’m looking forward to my next beach trip," she posted.

Block Z is her upcoming movie with ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia.

Meanwhile, her mother Marjorie recently defended the actress on social media. Marjorie remarked that Julia and Gerald are just friends after allegedly being spotted at the birthday party of Rayver Cruz.
