The official trailer of Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan has been released, featuring a nostalgic orchestration of a classic tune from the 1998 animation that is well-loved by many Filipino fans.

Released on Saturday, the extended look at Mulan included “Reflection” as an instrumental background in key scenes featuring the titular character, portrayed by Chinese actress Liu Yifei.

“Reflection”, which has become an anthem about claiming one's identity since the release of the animation, was originally performed by Filipino Broadway star Lea Salonga.

Largely inspired by the Ballad of Mulan, the Chinese legend, the live-action remake of Mulan is slated for a March 2020 theatrical release.
