MYX VJ Search 2017 concluded last night and revealed four additional members to the growing MYX squad. Among the eleven finalists, Arturo “Turs” Daza, Jose Carlo “JC” Tevez, Kimberly Cruz, and Debbie Then were proclaimed as the new MYX VJs.

The four new VJs felt overwhelmed and grateful to be given such an opportunity of a lifetime. “I feel amazing I still can’t believe that it’s real. But I am just so grateful being able to have this chance to show a side of myself which is that person who is just a know-it-all when it comes to music and entertainment news. This is where I can completely be myself,” VJ Debbie said.

VJ JC added, “When you hear about the word VJ, not many people can call themselves a VJ and we are allowed to use that title so it is such a dream come true.”

As part of the number one music channel in the Philippines, the new VJs are looking forward to having an amazing journey ahead particularly discovering great local acts.

“Obviously its for the music, it's always for the listening to new musicians especially the local talents. There are a lot of local talents that are amazing and just being exposed to them is a great opportunity for us and besides that I am just looking forward to working with the MYX squad every day and working with them it is really like a family,” VJ Turs said.

They already have their dream interviews in mind. For VJ Kim, she said she wants to interview local artists especially Sarah Geronimo. “I want to get involved also in the Philippine music industry. I think through MYX I get to know more about it,” she said.
