With Pangako Sa ‘Yo on its final week, Andrea Brillantes said she feels lucky to have been part of a hit Primetime Bida series. The talented tween who plays Lia Buenavista admitted she learned a lot from playing Angelica Panganiban’s rebellious daughter in the series. 'Actually na-touch nga ako kasi nung nag-acting ako pinupuri niya ako na ang galing galing ko daw. Sobrang na-inspired ako siyempre si Angelica yun so dapat ginagalingan ko talaga. Ang natutunan ko sa show is to work hard talaga,” she told Push.com.ph.

Even if she officially turns into a teenager next month, Andrea said she is not in any hurry to do grow up when it comes to acting. 'Actually hindi pa rin ako talaga grown-up, parang dun lang sa show kasi 12 ako tapos 15 years old ako dun. Para sa akin bata pa rin ako, ini-enjoy ko pa rin yung pagiging bata ko dahil this year magiging 13 na ako. Sinusulit ko na talaga yung pagiging bata ko. Game pa rin ako sa mga bata na roles,” she admitted.

Andrea said she enjoys growing up in the industry as a child actress. 'Yung mga nakakasama mo tapos madaming magmamahal sa iyo at madaming sumusuporta sa iyo. Kasi masaya kung gusto mo. Madami ring sacrifices,” she added.

The Kapamilya actress said that working closely with fellow young actor JK Labajo in Pangako Sa ‘Yo has also deepened their friendship since the show started May last year. She also admitted she wouldn’t mind being paired with him again. 'Kasi ang tagal na din naming nagkatrabaho. Naging friends na talaga kami tapos naging close na kami. Feeling ko kami dun ulit yung magiging love team. Feeling ko love team na talaga kami. Okay naman ako sa kanya kasi close naman na kami. Sanay na ako sa kanya,” she shared.

Even though she is still waiting for another project after Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Andrea said she is flattered JK has said in previous interviews that he wants to be her love team partner. 'Alam na naman ng lahat na makulit siya. Actually hindi ko talaga alam kung anong hindi pa alam ng mga tao sa kanya. I like JK kasi understanding siya at saka lagi siyang andiyan. At saka lagi siyang concerned at super ma-effort,” she said.

Andrea admitted that her only crush in showbiz is still Daniel Padilla (who plays her older brother in PSY). Andrea said it is pure admiration for the teen superstar. 'Siyempre naga-guwapuhan lang ako pero hanggang dun lang kasi crush lang naman. Hanggang dun lang talaga, nothing more. Paghanga lang talaga. Kasi si Daniel Padilla yun eh, sino ba namang hindi magkaka-crush dun?” she said.

Observing Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel on the set, Andrea said she has learned something about what it takes to be a successful love team. “Natutunan ko na lesson na pag love team hindi mo naman talaga siya kailangan maging crush. Pero kailangan lang maging close kayo para merong chemistry. Tapos yun lang, chemistry lang talaga,” she added.

Even though she is still too young for a relationship, Andrea revealed what she finds attractive in the opposite sex. 'Gusto ko yung marunong mag-basketball. Gusto ko yung marunong mag-gitara. Mas maganda yung boses. Tapos gusto ko marunong sumayaw. Gusto ko yung matangkad. Basta cool (laughs),” she said.
