With some details of her upcoming wedding to fiance Dingdong Dantes slowly falling into place, Marian Rivera has already gone through her first bridal shower. The primetime star took to her Instagram account on Monday to announce that she was flying to Hong Kong to kick off what many presume to be the first of a lot of bridal showers for her as she labeled her photos with the hashtag “#1stBridalShowerNiYan.”

The star was accompanied to the bridal shower by her two constant companions, her mother Amelia Rivera and lola Francisca Rivera, as well as her friends including one of her Maids of Honor Ana Feleo, comedian Boobay, her makeup artist Bambbi Fuentes, and Dingdong’s manager Perry Lansigan.

The soon-to-be-bride was seen donning a short veil in the photos she posted.

While she has yet to reveal how her bridal shower went as it seemed that she’s still in Hong Kong, her friends in their respective posts shared that they had a lot of fun.

Marian spent her first bridal shower in what is dubbed as “the happiest place on earth,” Hong Kong Disneyland.

Almost a week ago, the couple had the traditional “pamamanhikan” wherein Dingdong, together with his family, sought the blessing of Marian’s family for their upcoming wedding.

Two weeks earlier, the couple hosted a luncheon for the first batch of their principal sponsors which was composed of network executives, showbiz friends, and other people close to their hearts.

The couple will be tying the knot on December 30 at Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral in Quezon City.
