The 55th Korean Baeksang Awardee-Actor Jang Ki-yong recently shared his wonderful running experience in Hawaii. In an Instagram post, the actor celebrated after finishing the Hibiscus 15-kilometer Marathon and successfully placing 37 out of 79 runners, expressing his hardship in achieving the medal, saying “It was hard,” then adding, 'Do what you want everyone,' encouraging not only his fans but everyone to expressively do what makes them happy and fulfilled in life. This captivates the actor’s followers, who are congratulating him for his shortlist achievement this year, subsequently with his recent K-Drama series ‘A Typical Family’.

The Hibiscus Half Marathon is an event organized by Tropical Triple Crown and partnered with the Road Runners Club of America, the oldest and largest national association of runners and organizations since 1958. The event is composed of a 3-race series on the astonishing island of Oahu. The organization encourages its volunteers to be friendly with each other, building good partnerships with the organization by avoiding mean participants in the event.

The actor has been enjoying his stay in Hawaii for a couple of days now and was vocal of his fondness for wellness and running. The actor also shared recent Instagram posts in Hawaii in different places: Kailua, Koko Crater Trail Head, and Kapiolani Park at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, where the race finished. Consequently, after his recent drama, the 31-year-old actor shared with his fans on Weverse his upcoming Asian Fan Meeting for the first time after five years.

YG Entertainment just announced the actor’s fan meeting in Manila on on September 28. The tour will start in Seoul before heading over to Asian cities, with Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, and Taipei on the list. The tour’s name, ‘Beautiful Day', is about the actor’s excitement and desire to create memorable moments with his fans. The details and ticket prices of the announcement are currently being arranged by the actor’s agency and will be announced soon.

Jang Ki-yong was very well known for some of his top-notch K-dramas and undeniable chemistry with Hallyu stars.
