The lives of Raven (Kaila Estrada) and Jigs (Markus Paterson) belonging to Sidero’s most influential family come with a lot of pressure to be perfect at all times. They live in a complicated world where even their own parents conspire to make them feel uncomfortable and sometimes worthless. The good thing is they can lean on each other in times of misery. In this Kapamilya Toplist from Viral Scandal, we rounded up scenes showing how Raven and Jigs care and fight for each other like siblings.

The story established Raven and Jigs’ closeness since the beginning when the latter’s video scandal spread across Sidero. Raven questioned Jigs’ innocence at first, saying no woman deserves to be video-recorded without her consent, not even her half-sister and enemy, Rica (Charlie Dizon).

However, she was easily swayed by his charming manipulation. She was made to believe that Jigs and Rica have had a romantic relationship, and that the sex video was taken with permission. She’s so convinced that Jigs would never exploit a woman because, according to her, she knows him so well.

Raven has supported Jigs all the way since. Although Troy (Jake Cuenca) warned her not to get involved in Jigs’ mess, she chose to listen to her mom Audrey (Maxene Magalona), who’s so affectionate towards Jigs.

There was a scene where Jigs asked Raven to use her social media influence in clearing his reputation. When she refused, he taught her that being a Ramones means feigning perfection because that’s an easy sell to the public.

In a conversation with her cousin, Raven opened up how she feels seeing Jigs receive maternal love from Audrey. She said that Jigs is perfect in Audrey’s eyes unlike her that’s often chided even for the littlest mistakes. On Jigs’ part, however, he also feels the same misery with how his father Bobby (Gian Magdangal) treats him. They relate to each other’s pain and problems about their parents, thus they’ve become each other’s comfort.

In another scene, Jigs promised to do everything to protect Raven and Audrey. Although he can be evil at times, he has genuine concern for Raven’s welfare. He helps her recover from her alcohol addiction. One time, Raven invited Jigs to hang out in a bar, hoping to see Kyle (Joshua Garcia) around. Knowing that his cousin still undergoes treatment, Jigs made sure Raven won’t take even a little amount of alcohol that night. Then, although tipsy, he made sure to bring her home safe,

He was also the first to know that Raven broke the rules by taking alcohol without consent. He was equally frustrated, saying he’s mad because he’s concerned about her health. After giving Raven a quick lecture, Jigs encouraged her to talk to him in case she needs rescue.

So when Raven encountered a slight road accident, Jigs quickly drove to her location. Then, he searched inside Raven’s car, thinking she might be a little drunk. But Raven found a way to hide the liquor.

Jigs may be the Ramones’ black sheep and Raven the lost child but together, they are willing to give each other the love and care they crave from their parents. But, will the turn of events affect their relationship?
