Want to know your crush's status? Take a hint this Valentine's Day as some schools are allowing their students to express the status of their hearts by wearing color-coded shirts this February 14.

Students from Plaridel National High School who are proudly in love or in a relationship get to wear red this Wednesday, after the school approved the highly-requested activity, according to the president of the student council Paul Libres.

Single and ready to flirt, or ready to settle for an MU (malanding ugnayan)? Pink is the color for students from the University of Rizal System in Binangonan who fall under this category.

If you're in a "one-sided relationship" (meaning that your special someone doesn't know he or she is in the relationship), you can wear brown in Saint Albert the Great Science Academy in San Carlos, Pangasinan. Grade 12 student Mary Joy Austria shared a photo announcing the new set-up for Valentine's Day in a tweet.

Ampalaya green is not the color of "bitter" students, faculty members, and school staff in the University of Rizal System in Rodriguez, where they can don black shirts instead, as shared by the student council president Jethro Quebral.

Those who are broken-hearted in Captain Albert Aguilar National High School in Las Piñas will have to wear a cheery yellow shirt this Valentine's Day, after the school approved of the activity proposed by the student government for the first time this year, said Grade 8 chairperson Maria Alexis Bañez.

Third wheels have representation in Technological University of the Philippines-Cavite, where they can proudly announce it by wearing gray this Wednesday. Student government president Francis Ryan Moya said even staff and faculty members can join them in this activity.

Adding more fun to Quirino State University's festival is the shirt color-coding activity, where wearing brown means you are in the "friend zone", and wearing gray means you are single yet contented. Shantal Sanchez shared on Facebook this announcement from their student government, where faculty and staff were also encouraged to join.

If students of Cor Jesu College in Digos City don't feel like joining the shirt color coding, they can wear their uniform instead. That is, if they are ready to be branded as "killjoys."
