A decade after charming us all in the 2009 inspirational Kapamilya teleserye "May Bukas Pa”, Zaijian Jaranilla is now all-grown up and is back with a series of projects. For this Tonight with Boy Abunda visit, he promoted his iWant original series, Story of My Life. He portrayed Rex, a troubled teenager fighting against depression and craving for love outside the family home.

When asked how he differs from Rex, the young actor said that he has never been rejected by a girl before, although, they are both shy type. Zaijian takes courtship seriously by paying a visit to the girl’s house and getting to know her family better. Although, he admitted that his work under the limelight sometimes leads to misunderstandings and arguments. But the lucky girl in Zaijian’s life has nothing to worry since he calls himself a loyal boyfriend.

Aside from his acting skills, the hunk-in-the-making received praise from netizens after he flashed his toned abs on social media. Zaijian attributed his good shape to the intense physical trainings he went through for Bagani in 2018.

From a warrior in a fantastical world to a superhero’s sidekick, Zaijian’s latest project is portraying Ding in the 2022 television adaptation of Mars Ravelo’s Darna.
