Kapamilya hunk actor Tony Labrusca came back to the TWBA hot seat to discuss his projects and answer some juicy questions about his personal life. Tony gladly shared that his friendship with radio DJ Ria Ramirez continued beyond their first friendly date for It’s Showtime’s KapareWho segment. Adding a fun fact, Tony said he once took a video greeting for Ria way before they met on KapareWho.

Apart from the MMFF entry “The Mall, The Merrier”, Tony also starred in an iWant series alongside Julia Barretto. For him, working with his newest leading lady is a dream come true. He recalled uttering Julia’s name two years ago when the management asked him to pick someone he would like to work with.

Tony clarified fans’ assumption that he was serenading Julia as seen in an Instagram post. The Kapamilya actor narrated that he was just singing a few lines from a song by Julia’s sister, Claudia. Afterwards, Julia requested for Daniel Caesar’s “Best Part” which he obliged to.

Tony was persistently teased to his new love team partner but he courteously refused to taint their team-up with romance. Instead, he expressed the desire to be close friends with the lovely actress.

Tony revealed that there are times when they would somewhat talk about the controversies they faced. “Not a single thing, person, or energy on this earth can take away what’s meant to be yours. So, no matter what controversy happens to you, if you had no ill intention, all the good things would still come to you”, Tony claimed when asked about the lesson he learned after going through major controversies this year.

Through their conversations, Tony always gets inspired with Julia’s love for her family and how she would always run back to God. He now believes that the one meant to be Julia’s husband in the future is indeed a lucky man.

To end the episode, Tony described his kissing scenes with his former leading ladies. He responds with “Sweet” when photo of his Sino Ang Maysala: Mea Culpa co-star Bela Padilla, whom he fondly calls as ‘Wifey’, was shown. “Wild”, he said about his on-screen kiss with Jane Oineza. On Angel Aquino, the actor claimed that sweet, wet, and wild “are not even enough” to describe the kisses they shared in iWant’s “Glorious.”
