With his adorable antics and down-to-earth personality, it seems so easy to love Ryan Bang. And Angelica Panganiban is one of the many celebs drawn to Ryan’s lovable ways.

They have become so close that they can keep it real with each other. In a year-end interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Ryan is asked about his most unforgettable memory of 2018. He said it would have to be Angelica cursing at him.

“First time po na minura ako ni Ate Angel. Seryoso, sobrang galit na galit sa akin,” he started narrating. It was due to misinforming Angelica on what to expect in Jeju Island in Korea.

According to his story, Angelica asked him about the popular tourist destination before her trip to Korea. Trying to describe the place as best as he could, he likened Jeju Island to our very own island of Boracay. Thus, Angelica imagined a typical Boracay vacay – hot and sunny beach weather.

“Sa Korea tumawag siya, minura ako. Kasi sobrang lamig! Snow pala! Nag-snow sa Jeju Island,” he enthused. “Dala niya shorts, sando, tsinelas, pang-beach ‘yung dala niyang mga outfit,” shared Ryan.

Ryan and Angelica’s friendship started when they became co-stars for the weekend gag show Banana Sundae. In one of Angelica’s posts in Instagram, she revealed that they had a bad start. She remembers him as the guy who woke her up from sleep to ask for a photo. Despite the unpleasant beginning, their friendship turned out real and long-lasting.
