He shared the story behind his nickname as he answers fan questions in this throwback Tonight with Boy Abunda Online Exclusive. In the video, Ronnie shared that he’s born Ronnie Alonte II, thus R2. He also said that he still gets to play basketball with his childhood friends in Biñan, Laguna.
