Kiko Estrada is here to prove that, more than just his gorgeous and perfect physique, he can act as well. Coming from a clan of exemplary actors who made a mark during their era, Kiko admitted feeling a sense of pressure now that it is his time to live up to their family’s legacy.

At first, Kiko’s Dad, actor Gary Estrada was in disagreement of his plans to pursue an acting career. Gary has learned from his experience that showbiz can be frustrating at times and as much as possible, he does not want his son to face such dilemma.

Nonetheless, Kiko got an all-out support from his late grandfather, Paquito Diaz. Before the veteran actor died, he asked Kiko to follow his footsteps and even replace him in the spot he used to have. “Ikaw ang papalit sa akin,” Diaz said. Kiko simply replied to his Lolo Paquito, “Walang papalit sa’yo”.

Three weeks after that conversation with his Lolo, Kiko received an invitation from Star Magic for an acting workshop. Kiko gladly said yes and he fell in love with the craft.
