The agriculture story arc was swiftly introduced with Apollo (Richard Gutierrez) detecting Priam (Albert Martinez)’s enigmatic visit to a place called Delos. Following his hunches, Apollo went to Delos, which turns out to be a far-flung farming community.

The scene cuts to a news report about a group of missing scientists. One of them is Penelope (Vivoree Esclito), molecular biology and biotechnology graduate, who disappeared two years ago.

It then cuts to a scene in a laboratory in Delos. Penelope secretly converses with Eric (JC Alcantara) about an escape plan. While Eric is determined to make a way, Penelope insists they finish the formula for the growth of farming bugs, believing that they’d be freed once they’re done. But Eric believes otherwise, saying they’d die in that place with or without the formula. It turns out Priam ordered the abduction to force the scientists into producing a serum that will make bugs grow faster and sabotage the poor farmers.

In the scene where Penelope tearfully remembers her mother’s birthday, Eric promised it would be her mom’s last birthday without her. He decided to escape that night, sacrificing his life for Penelope, the farmers, and the other scientists.

Eric was caught by Damon (Ramon Christopher)’s men. Apollo arrived in time to save him. Just when we thought he is going to make it alive, Eric was captured by Damon himself, while Apollo was away trying to evade the enemies.

Eric was locked up inside a cell while Penelope and the other scientists watched in horror. Damon warned that anyone who will try to escape would follow Eric’s fate. The bad guys released toxic chemicals inside the cell, causing Eric to suffocate and die. He was so helpless. Penelope was devastated. This final scene of them together was deeply heartbreaking. Their stints might have been short but Vivoree and JC's performance was remarkable.
