His character’s death on “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” even garnered a ton of buzz online given how notable his character was on the show.Raymond, on the other hand, decided to take on a different path. When he returned to the Philippines after studying in the United States during his younger years, his mother, who was also their talent manager, offered him potential acting projects like his brother’s. However, Raymond already knew what he wanted to do.In his <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/magandangbuhay" target="_blank">Magandang Buhay</a> interview in 2018, Raymond divulged that he told his mom, “I wanna do hosting. That’s where I see myself.” Although his mom still thought otherwise, Raymond continued to convince her that he knew hosting was the path for him. “I fought for what I wanted. Sabi ko, ‘Mom, trust me. Dapat iba kami ng lane ni Chard. Dapat siya dito, ako dito,” he shared. Turns out, he was right.
