<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starmagic">Star Magic</a> All-Star Games 2023, showbiz’s biggest and most star-studded sports fest of the year, happened at the Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday, May 21. One of the highlights was the parade of players during the basketball main event wherein the teams had us rooting for their unexpected, exhilarating gimmicks! There was no shortage of stamina and humor as Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, Nyoy Volante, JC De Vera, Eric Tai, Zeus Collins, Kid Yambao, Vitto Marquez, Jin Macapagal, Johannes Rissler, and Polo Laure, with head coach Beaujing Acot and assistant coach Arwind Santos stepped on the court with intense energy. It wasn’t game time yet, but the boys already pumped up the event with their signature dance routine and antics, then assembled in the middle for some classic “Gentleman” moves. <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starmagic">Star Magic</a> Dream Team fielded an intimidating delegation led by LA Tenorio as head coach with Gerald Anderson as assistant coach and player as well. Daniel Padilla, Zanjoe Marudo, Ronnie Alonte, Jeremiah Lisbo, Miko Raval, Joseph Marco, Paolo Gumabao, Lance Carr, Argel Saycon, JV Kapunan, and Gerard Acao completed the squad. They entered with their muse Belle Mariano displaying her sweet beauty. Carrying the team’s banner with her was, of course, Donny Pangilinan. The star wattage of this team could truly light up the whole arena! Daniel and his troop simply had to jump and run around the court to make the crowd go wild. Cheers came in full swing, with celebrities like Vice Ganda and Joshua Garcia showing their support from the sidelines. And with the crowd dancing and chanting and whistling crazy loud, nothing could slam the fighting spirit of both teams!
