In this edition of Kapamilya Chat’s “Fact or Fake,” Vivoree Esclito verifies information about her found on the internet.

First, she confirmed that she’s sensitive in that she can easily read other people’s energy, “Very meticulous ako kahit sa mga smallest details. Napapansin ko po kasi, eh, kahit unconsciously. For example, tingnan mo lang ako nang masama, nababasa ko na ‘yung intention mo. Ganu’n ako ka-sensitiive.”

She denied that she won a beauty pageant in grade school. It was in high school when she joined one and it was “traumatic.” She said the candidates were given the time to scan the list of questions. She missed two questions and, unfortunately, picked one of them during the actual Q and A round. “After that, I was like, ‘No, ayoko na talaga.’ Napilitan lang din ako nu’n sumali kasi wala ng representative.”

Did she cry during her Pinoy Big Brother audition? The answer is ‘yes’ because she thought crying will boost her chances of getting in. She clarified that she was genuinely moved during the on-cam panel session.

Asked her most unforgettable event inside the PBB house, she recalled an individual task in which losing players were automatically nominated, giving her an important lesson about trusting oneself. “At the end of the day, ikaw lang talaga ‘yung meron. So, kailangan mong mahalin ang sarili mo. Kailangan mong tibayan ang loob mo kasi ikaw lang ‘yung meron ka talaga.”

The internet says Vivoree likes alone time, which she confirmed, saying she was raised to be independent since she had to look after her other siblings as the ‘Ate’. Add to that, her insecurities affected her social skills, “Kapag lumaki kang insecure o mababa ‘yung self-confidence mo, talagang masasanay ka na ikaw lang mag-isa.Masasanay ka sa own company mo.”

On overcoming those insecurities, she mentioned it took time. She didn’t force herself but rather patiently took on the whole process. She added that the bashing helped thicken her skin.

She’s learned to enjoy other people’s company as well. In fact, fans observe she’s comfortable with her workmates Jeremy G (her co-host on PIE Channel) and Brent Manalo (her leading man in her music video), hence, the fandoms. When asked her reaction to this, the Boholana beauty said she’s glad that viewers notice her chemistry with her co-stars and that she’s always open to working with anyone in the industry.

The internet says Vivoree auditioned for Darna, which is a fact. According to her, almost all Star Magic artists were asked to audition for a secret role. She knew it wasn’t yet her time, nonetheless, she’s glad to have tried for the experience.
